A free, one-day session for livestock owners and emergency responders
Northeast Region CAER sponsors Livestock Emergency Response Course

Monday, December 7th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lessons from the wild fires experienced in our region in the spring included a need for increased awareness about dealing with livestock in distress during an emergency situation. Northeast Region CAER is pleased to bring Jennifer Woods, livestock handling specialist, to the region.

The course is free to front line responders and livestock owners within the Northeast Region CAER boundary, which includes the City of Fort Saskatchewan, Lamont, Strathcona and Sturgeon Counties.
